The unresponsiveness of the game makes it unplayable. You're given no indicators that your
actions are doing anything besides twitches to indicate resistance when attempting something you
can't do yet. To the player this means that everything you do is effectively arbitrary until it's
not and, given how long you have to grind affection for, it takes a lot of arbitrary actions
before anything happens.
It doesn't help that the hitboxes are goddamn tiny and it's a guessing game where they even are.
