bullets are much more deadly and more humane, a blunt/shock instrument from human strength can
hardly destroy the CNS at a rate that a point blank bullet can.
That rancher shot exactly through the top of the horses skull that links the spine, it died
instantly and disabled all brain function; hence the bowel release on the way down, it was dead
before it hit the ground.
I've killed a few sheep and a horse, Sig 357. As long as you hit the high portion of the spine it
is an instantaneous death. Only nerves from that point onwards.
