...okay, fine. It's Evangelion. Mainly the remake, looks like scenes from 1.0 when it came out.
You should watch the original episodes first, then watch all the movies in the order of their
release.

That was seriously incredible. I've never fully been interested in an anime until now. I've
watched bits and pieces of Neon Genesis before when I was younger, but damn. I never realized how
beautiful the animation was. My favorite part was the 1,000+lb brass shells coming down and
crushing cars. Fucking awesome.

it's from the recent movies, though. The original anime was a lot cheaper and resorted to some
real shortcuts to render the animation (the infamous road scenes that had shit perspective, as
well as its ending reusing a lot of older cels)

This is one of the most beautiful AMV(anime music videos) I have ever seen. FYI for my
