  Good luck. The final boss is fucking insane. I'd rather die than grind that much.

  Well anyway here's a basic strategy guide:
  1. Walk around on land until you find 3 camps. You need to kill these to get to the boss. Once
  you beat the boss, a new area on the world map opens (walk offscreen to access map once you've
  killed the first boss)
  2. Try to not need to buy strength. Area 3 contains a smith, the first part of the "meat" of the
  game, that upgrades your sword. Start by upgrading your katana.
  3. Area 4 has a magic shop that you need to find to be able to kill the clouds. Area 5 has the
  city. Remember all those gems you've collected? Time to turn them into enchantments. Increase the
  katana's fire power.

  4. Grind poseidon until you can beat sorceress. You need those aquamarines.
  5. Now as you reach area 6 boss take your dagger, or if you want, buy a new sword. Upgrade it to
  a good level and enchant it with a ton of aquamarines. Now you're killing the boss in a few hits.
  Grind him. Put the rubies into your katana, but once it's at like +50 fire, you don't need more
  and can put it into armor for fire resistance. Efreet is one of the best things to grind early on.
  6. As your sword is sufficiently huge, buy the coin of bravery. This allows you to step offscreen
  and swing your sword from there, negating Death's deadly attacks. If you dont want to do this put
  something like 100 onyxes in your armor and he's doable.

  7. The most important stats are luck and vitality. Offense is best improved by improving your
  sword. Luck improves drops and most importantly, lets you find rare monsters. Try to grind in the
  mixed mob zones with high luck, they have upwards adjusted bounty. In the area 14 mixed mob zone,
  finding a level 4 skeleton - you can kill it in 1 hit and it nets you 100 billion, not 50k like
  an ordinary skeleton! At 300 luck this is a regular occurrence. At 1 luck you very rarely see it.
  8. Well now you can do anything and have the full map, so see if you can solve the big puzzles of
  the game.
