That usually means you're looking at an outdated list of flashes.
Sometimes I get this when coming in via the Yotsuba catalog (which trawls /f/ for updates and
shows thumbnails), but not so much via /f/ directly.
Try Ctrl+F5 or whatever your browser's "force a proper refresh" hotkey is.
