Psst...bring a Leafish and a Humbug. Teach the Leafish Slit and the Humbug Withdraw. Whenever you
encounter an enemy you don't have an elemental advantage against, use Slit, switch to the Humbug,
and Withdraw until it's dead.
Also half of the enemies are insectoids, meaning a Gruul with Chitin Crunch and Insectivore is
your best friend.
Coincidentally you need to have an insectoid and bestial type to finish the game.

It really shows in the dialogue.
Also for anyone curious this game will probably not have an ending as someone pointed out
yesterday so prepare for an abrupt "to be finished soon" ending.
