The end

It doesn't count down to anything. Every time you open it it picks an arbitrary date months from
the current date.

What is the significance of the number "15120000000"?
>> [_] Anonymous 08/14/14(Thu)06:08 No.2488191
>>2488172
It's a scaling factor. getTime() returns the Unix timestamp (ms since 1970-1-1). Dividing it by
1.512E+10 ms returns the date in units of 175 days (rounded down), 175 days are added to that,
then it converts this number back to ms.
The purpose of this is to pick a date 55 to 175 days in the future that remains consistent
between views (if you open it a day from now it'll show the same target date, but in a few months
it'll be different).

Interesting. Thanks anon.
How does "Dividing it by 1.512E+10 ms" return "the date in units of 175 days (rounded down)"?
