googled it not to long ago. Swampy T. Fox is what he's called, and he apparently use to make
live-action quicksand-fetish furry porn. Somehow, he manages to sink to depths of seemingly no
return, and then get out. Ironically, he just managed to piss off the quick-sand fetishists
because it's furry, and also the furries, because he gets his costumes so dirty.

Can anyone give me a proper history of this .swf? What is being compiled?
What is the narrator talking about?
Degeneracy, fall of our generation compilation?
Explain everything you have to know if it isn't too long. If it is, make a paste bin some time.

Music is by experimental sound artist Oneohtrix Point Never (Daniel Lopatin). Video was by visual
artist Jon Rafman.
It would be difficult to get a full source list for this. As for its meaning, you'll just have to
use your imagination. As someone who browses /f/ and 4chan, you have everything you need to
"know".

You know, this may well be the first piece of "art" that I've seen in a very long time. It says a
lot, in a very few words.
Firstly, the title is quite apt. A still life (a snapshot of an object, frozen in life) of a beta
male. Not a beta male as defined in a natural context, but rather as the internet community and
perhaps the cultural overmind of the world at large see it. A creature outside the existence of
the social and 'normal world' who lives vicariously through the internet.
It does a good job of capturing the sort of surreal feeling of someone whose life is experienced
almost wholly through the window of a computer monitor. An existence that has become almost
completely virtual, where the flesh is little more than an unwanted vehicle that facilitates the
transfer of information from the fingertips and the eyes.
It's simultaneously beautiful and terrible.

I see it as capturing the feelings of a life that is ever changing, spurred on by the rapid pace
of the Internet that can make it seem like your life is going by so much more quickly than
others' on account of the sheer number of different things you're exposed to.
It tries to create one of those moments where you escape from the moment and look at everything
in your life and where you are in it with objective eyes. The bizarre sensation of knowing how
fucked up everything you consider normal is, with the fact that you consider it normal being the
most fucked up part of all, coupled with the genuine appreciation you have for these things and
the joy they bring you.

I have to wonder if this wasn't specifically made for /f/
