Pop culture is such a shitty representation of a country.
But then again, as much as some of you guys stay glued to your computers and not go outside into
the wilderness and rural areas around you, I guess it's not surprising you don't see the bland
boring absurdity of it.
For what it's worth, Japan is filled with rednecks and workaholics. That was my experience of the
people and culture from when I was living over there. The cab drivers on base would often play go
to combat boredom while passing the time there.
...and I absolutely loved fucking whores in the soapies. Probably my favorite thing about the
country, though is the street car culture. I wish we had stores like Up Garage here in the states.
