He didn't lose a letter, one of the officers that ran by him in the opening had either
accidentally dropped, or purposefully handed him critical information on the dictator seen in the
first quarter and in the last segment.
What we saw was a discreet information drop that may have been prearranged. The man who's car had
broken down was a powerful political figure in a neighboring (presumably democratic or republic)
nation. James, as we have come to know him, was traveling TO said country, hence the many highway
scenes.
With the critical information in hand, the neighboring country initiates a precision strike
against the dictatorship, ending his regime in a single, swift attack.
Ol' driving James is a hero in the shadows, changing the world from the comfort of his car.
