I was expecting Miku, and I am bitterly disappointed.
I remember when the first Nyanyanya(etc.) went live and all of the remixes that happened after
it. It was nice and stupid but then Nyan Cat became a thing and went from pseudo-obscure Japanese
NND meme, basically, to some stupid commercialized "omg lel so funneh poptart cat xD" video that
mysteriously gathered traction thanks in part to rubbish sites.
I don't know why it irks me so much. The logical side of me knows it's stupid and useless. Is it
because it shows the power of idiotic masses looking for that new "in" meme that they can freely
regurgitate to look cool? The bastardization of something fun and comical? The arguments made
after the fact defending Nyan Cat with more fervor than my rant? My probably undiagnosed autism?
I just hope I'm not in the same boat.
