It's nothing but a root notes with thirds and fifths. They'll sound good no matter what you do.

And seconds and sixths. Also it's a pretty synth with a lot of delay on it. You can still get
dissonant though if you just cover the screen in white squares.

It's called the pentatonic scale. In this case, its D major pentatonic.
You can do the same with piano, by only using the dark keys. Then its F# major pentatonic.
