This crowd funding, greenlight shit is one of the worst trends to happen to gaming since
shovelware and "mobile" games.
So many of these games have piles of money thrown at them (with no strings attached!) for what
boils down to an idea combined with a 0.0.1 alpha.. at which point the dev or devs can just
trickle updates out as slow as they want and never actually finish or complete anything. It's the
exact same with CoC/TiTs and so many other games. The DayZ guy literally had a million dollars or
more thrown at him over a year ago and for what? The game isn't even in beta yet and still costs
a full $30. Same thing with Duke Nukem until the joke built up to the point where they actually
had to release something.

I'm convinced these are the same dipshits who many of us end up working with who act like
self-absorbed, histrionic drama queens every time they screw up or get in trouble because they
don't understand the concept of deadlines and the necessity of results. That's why they beg and
plead for people to fund them so they can quit and work "full time" on the game and churn out
tiny pointless updates for as long as they can keep stringing their stupid little fan base along.
Anyone reading this who participates: seriously, stop giving these assholes money until they
produce something real and complete. Once they feel the hurt to their wallet they'll be forced to

I got interested and read up on the updates and I don't know whether to laugh or cry over the
fact that he's getting any money from this, in the most recent update he said it felt more like a
game than before but actually removed dialogue and anything that actually made it a game.. So his
view on a game is where you buy human animal hybrids that just fuck and sometimes random shit
