Is cowboy bebop worth watching? I remember seeing it on toonami and thinking the name sounded
stupid and remembering how toonami had a lot of really shit anime.
Also if it is good, sub or dub? (i usually hate dubs btw)

Cowboy Bebop is one of those anime that is fine either subbed or dubbed. I watched it subbed,
didn't regret it.
The anime itself /is/ overhyped, but it's still good. Watch it before/after Samurai Champloo,
since they have the same sort of feel imo.

Well toonami did introduce naruto, bleach, and one piece to america and also had a lot of other
shitty anime, so i always thought it was just a bad idea to watch an anime that aired on toonami
(then i watched code geass and ghost in the shell and wasn't that upset, just never got around to
bebop).

Champloo is better, as is kids on the slope. Bebop has aged terribly and has horrible pacing
issues now. with animation going from amazing to barely there at all. I really love Cowboy Bebop
but man it's old.

Bebop aged terribly? I have to disagree with you there.
The cel-animation is fine and hasn't suffered from anything other than lack of clarity, but
otherwise everything is as it should be. I watched it again about a year ago and I was shocked by
how well-detailed everything is. Yeah, the pacing isn't all that good with most of it being
filler but it's better that way than strictly following a single plotline.

bebop is extremely overrated because casuals watch it without having watched any other anime and
think it's the greatest thing ever made
it's still good, it's just not the greatest anime ever made or anything along those lines
