For the first year or so there were no mods and several pony containment chans along with 4chan's
reputation kept normalfags and brony autists away. It was a nice balance of fun, sex, and serious
show discussion. It also got trolled so much that people actually ignored trolls and obvious
shitposts until they went away, and I've never seen that happen anywhere else.
I miss old /mlp/ too.

The influx of newfags from Faust herself admitting we were the best and funposters drawn from all
the ebin S3 maymays we made hurt more than Scruffy. Newfags just interpreted the complaints
against the SFW policies as old /mlp/ being a haven for porn when it never had more than a couple
dump threads for it. Now every other thread is a general built for shitty greentext porn stories
written by attention whoring tripfags and propped up by autistic children too stupid to go to
paheal or a booru.

I only stuck around for the first two seasons and the summers that followed each and it was dead
long before the third. Most threads being a shitty greentext porn story general has been the case
since /mlp/ was first created.
The good stuff is still good. The Weaver still hatefucks subjects like this with his jokes and
they are still funny. /co/ created a monster they could not contain and it developed into some of
the biggest cancer to ever hit 4chan.
