I mean that the marginal increase in audio bitrate isn't worth further compromising the video
bitrate, not that the audio here is transparent to the original source (which it obviously isn't).
The average bitrate of this video is something like 180kbps. Does it really make sense to devote
fully half of the data to audio for a clip like this? Of course not. In any case I use vbr, so I
don't control or predict the average bitrate in general.

Sure, but I think my interpretation is a bit more substantiated than yours. The guy was in a
relationship but broke it off, and now he's hazily recalling it during a sleepy summer day.
Notice the flashbacks during the second act to dress-wearing-girl. Notice the design of
four-eye-girl is actually a hypersexualised echo of dress-wearing-girl during the second act.
They made it even more obvious during the third act with dress-wearing-girl being consumed by the
final boss. Clearly, he and his ex had crossed into having a sexual relationship, and to an
extent, he really does miss the sex...that's what the cloying hypersexualisation in the beginning
is for.
The guro here is pretty tame and isn't really meant to shock. It's supposed to emphasise how his
guilt over leaving the girl is eating him up on the inside. Queen-boss is a manifestation of his
guilt and regret over leaving her. It is quite literally eating him up from the inside.
