I've had her for 15 year and today she died. I wasn't even there when it happened, because I'm
away at university. I feel horrible.

My family got a dog, Sparky, when I was about 2 years old. 17 years later we got another dog,
Carmel. One day I woke up and Sparky was lying in a face plant in the middle of the path, dead.
Carmel was just excited to be there.
I picked her up and put her in her bed for until my family came home. The way her body froze, it
looks like she's looking straight at you when you come into the room with this stupid fucking
grin across her face. If it weren't so sad, I would have laughed every time I looked at her.
Even in death she tried to bring me joy ;_;
