in a couple years he'll just be "the long-gone founder". 4chan's culture will certianly change,
but I don't think moots retirement will have a huge effect on it. He hadn't had a lot of DIRECT
influence to the users in a long time. Like the newspost says: "From a user's perspective,

Hah. I've only been on 4chan for 5 years or so, and it's definitely changed, since. More
cancerous, and less OC-oriented, not that I can really complain about either. I don't doubt that
it's going to change further in the years to come, but moot leaving probably isn't going to be a
big deal.
