[_] where it is at all times Anonymous 01/11/15(Sun)13:18 No.2654084
It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or
where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation.
The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from
a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't,
it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it
follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't.

>The position where it is, is now the position where it wasn't.
It was the position where it wasn't the whole time.

Wasn't implies that for a period of time the missile was not occupying that position, but then
was later occupied by the missile. By the missile occupying that space, the missile claims it,
changing it from "where it isn't" to "where it is," and later passing it, "where it was." And for
all future record, that space where the missile was before it reached that position is referred
to as where it wasn't.
