I feel like this game has an ending, but it probably doesn't. at least it has motion trails. All

Is there even any strategy to this game? The spike walls are random, if you go fast you
eventually will hit one, if you slow down to go around them, the laser gets you. Maybe I'm just
too dumb to get it, but this just seems how far you get is 100% luck based.
