We're all awake, it's not like people don't know. It's just that we can't get organised and take
this down globally, because we're too comfy in our chairs.

It's some sort of thing to make you feel like a special snowflake for being "different". People
need to be productive overall for society, it's not a difficult concept.

To be fair, if you really think we aren't free you're retarded and over-thinking everything. I
used to think the exact same and think there was some sort of hidden power, something we don't
know anything about. But if you really want to go somewhere in the world, you get the money to
and you go there. It's not like it was possible before to do this so easily, everything is a lot
easier now.
I like to compare this time to say medieval times and how things may have been better back then.
But we have planes now, we can go where we want when we want. We are literally free to do
whatever. Think about it like this. Every government there is owns the land their people live in.
You don't have to stay there. If you're so sick of living a "pattern" then do something
different. Quit over-thinking the world. If you believe that it's as basic as it appears, you can
be happy.

I've survived for more than four years without a job. I'm thirty-five with a BSEE from the
University of Washington. a few years ago I got an inheritance from my drunk grandpa who was
completely loaded. I should've expected some money but I was completely surprised. I still have
about a third of the money I got from grandpa. I only planned to take six months off from work at
the most. It's not a horrible existence, it's not awesome. I was able to take a trip to Europe
with my uncle last year, but I ended up spending two days in my room in Dublin when I felt
overwhelmed, but most of the trip was awesome. I'll have to start working again soon. I'm mostly
worried that I won't be able to wake up and go to work because I sleep at crazy hours, so I'll
get fired quickly.

>he is stupid enough to listen to their lies about overpopulation
Every single 7 odd billion people on this planet can have the life of a mid-tier person,
middle-class whatever you want to call it.
Insect farming, vertical farming, mass-landscape destruction of useless hills and mountains to be
used for resources for said things, keep mountains that fuel rivers of course.
You can make artificial mountains with a fucking building a mile high with trees in it.
No more shitty junk food.
No more trying to fight just to get fucking food.
No more working your ass off to only spend 70% of your wage on food.
Instantly that has solved the problems of billions of people.
These aren't complex things.
Nobody will do it because nobody fucking wants to. There isn't some giant conspiracy. People are

Oh fuck off, you know what I mean, I was being metaphorical.
Skyscrapers with plants all over the surface of them can more than make up for the loss of a
mountain. Mountains are SHIT.
Especially the higher you go up.
You can get moisture out of the air at GROUND LEVEL trivially even in deserts.
They are far more useful to be used for farming, manufacturing, building and so on.
Not to mention if you design cities properly (barely any are!), you can cover areas in between
with wind turbines and generate a fuckton of power off the wind that eventually hits them.
Having lines of these things facing east and west, done.
Of course, it won't matter soon anyway, only 2 things will happen soon:
world war 3
resource rich society through space mining.
Every other scenario is just less worse than world war 3, but may as well be it.

I already did, and I didn't bother including it earlier because you are simply projecting your
own laziness on others.
>"This whole thing is totally simple! Just believe me, even though I have no special knowledge in

So, in other words, you are too lazy to do anything, but decide instead that it is a better use
of your time complaining on an anonymous anime image board.
I'd love to know how you reached that conclusion, but let's be honest, you just pulled that out

>my own laziness
Talking to person that grows their own food.
The majority of people are lazy pricks
If you were to take away cleaning jobs, janitorial and so on, the world would fall apart.
It is still trivial to DO said things.
These systems aren't complex to build, that is what I meant, you in-grown toenail.
Aquaponics, trivial, works well, rarely fails, trivial to restart. Insect farming, easy, works,
being done. Vertical farming, build a skyscraper, for farms.
This video is literally America Problems, not fucking World Problems.
They talk about muh murrica problems and 1 billion people starving, and forget the 4 odd billion
that live PERFECTLY FINE LIVES. (others are average)
The world is fine and I am tired of these same fucking cunts that make the same video every year.

I did a little of my own research, and it seems that you are right, that the main reason these
things haven't been done is because there's no profit incentive to go out and do those things.
China seems to be investing in Africa for the future, but that seems like a much more long-term
goal than what we have now.
I still take issue to you calling them "trivial" though, because there are numerous distribution
and environmental concerns that need to be addressed before these things are done.

Oh lawdy.
We've had space rockets for 70 years now. 70 years later, we're still using the same giant,
unreliable, flying bombs to launch a few pounds of payload into orbit.
Pray tell, how in the fuck are we going to move any economic quantity of minerals from wherever
it happens to be (mostly outside the orbit of Mars) to where we are able to exploit it, using the
technology we have or are likely to have in the next 100 years?

Distribution isn't that hard.
There are companies that sell aquaponics farms in a hut for your back garden, fully automated.
Not sure of the prices again.
Still not profitable, or efficient.
If farms were replaced with these systems, however, they'd be insanely more efficient.
Even more so if you do the progressive levelling of hills and mountains concept and replace them
with vertical skyscraper farms.
Over time it will become less profitable, but the food you could get from them.
