the game itself points out, at least to me, how people take a regular game, old now as well such
as Mario, and play it out to be more then it ever was. You are a hero who saves the princess, BUT
a group will go out and tell you why that's wrong, how games made in the 80's are relevant to
today's women/lgbt or whatever "oppression." All games with a male lead apparently give men a
boost in masculinity and that we are retarded beyond help. It's become a trope, gaming is

This is the worst kind of bait. It strokes everyone's enthusiasm in the sense that people who
feel like video games have some bad messages will get all angry that this is appearing to make
fun of them, and people who believe that secret "justice warrior" forces are out to ruin video
games will see this and get angry at the idea that someone actually believes the views parodied
here.
I'm glad most people on /f/ seem to have seen through it, at least. If this type of content had
been posted on most of the larger boards, it would have ignited a shitstorm that would have
resulted in dozens of people hotly shouting over each other about "hurr gayme gate" or whatever.
This is pure opportunism. If you don't have an opinion other than "people who have opinions are

That's the idea, sure. There is literally no indication that anything even remotely like what
this swf is joking about will ever come to pass in any actual form.
What we will see is more games with female protagonists, and less games where female characters
are effectively naked; and by "more" and "less", I mean negligibly so.
You will tire of games or die long before you'll have any legitimate cause to complain.
