Just finished watching the full thing. Man propaganda is disgusting on both ends. Anyone who is a
groomed in the military is trained to think, and feel all the same. Feel no mercy for those you
kill, and do nothing to dispute those who give you your orders. It's really vile how Nazi's can
be painted like their way of training people in times of war is just training for death, when it
works the same ways on all involved parties. Sure it may have started at birth as opposed to 18,
but its the same none the less.
War is disgusting, having social leaders is disgusting. Humans are monsters for allowing such a
thing.

I love how a lot of people I've come across over the years thinks this legit propaganda...but in
truth it was made for american audiences as a fuckin satire.

I think most people are willing to accept the necessity of a standing military to keep the peace,
along with the regimentation of some lives that entails as a necessary cost, while drawing a
distinction between societies that actively glorify militarization for its own sake, being a
solider before one is a citizen.
We need balance in everything.

>>2672810
We are a very chaotic species. Balance would help maintain peace for sure, the problem is what
people recognize as balance. I'm not a very political person, or even a smart one at that. So I
don't have a whole bunch more to add to this other than > THIS IS MY OPINION, AGREE OR YOU'RE A
FAT IDIOT. < So I'l ltry to hold my tongue on the topic of what it means to be a solider, I
honestly shouldn't have said what I had earlier because of my ignorance on the whole subject. I
just will always go for a non-violent way as opposed to bloodshed. If mind control, and fear are
needed for that, that I guess I'll take it.

think the problem with the world is that the majority of people are stupid enough to be
controlled via propoganda and whatnot

You're not giving your brothers and sisters enough credit. Though we still have the pack
mentality, I'd like to think that there will always be someone to rally the weak and righteous
against the strong and cruel. Unfortunately for me psychology and evidence proves me wrong.
People have knowingly given wrong answers to easy questions because 8 people before them did.
Going along with something doesn't mean you agree to it, but an acquired taste for blood is still
a taste for blood.

I'd rather encourage the weak to become strong rather than make personal sacrifices for them as a
strong person.
I think this is a rational attitude to have.

its not stupidity. it is laziness and disinterest.

>>2672904
It's not even laziness. In economics, this phenomenon is referred to as 'rational ignorance'.
That is, without the incentives for somebody to be aware of something (eg. a return on investment
- in this case, time investment), then they will not bother to look into it.
Such is the case for political knowledge, especially in democratic systems where a politically
knowledgeable person's vote holds the same weight as any other ignorant voter.

I rather think that the pontificating by the Allies in this piece of propaganda was
extraordinarily pure in its ideological pushings. This is part of the "Why We Fight" series,
which was a very long and extensive series of "propaganda" films produced by academics in the
Allied Military shown to the American soliders regarding just about every objection and concern
about the fight and the enemies. They often explained things and concepts the soldiers could not
possibly understand, and even pointed out some of their own side's faults while focusing on the
necessity of the fight against all previous attempts at peace.
I think it, at the very least, has more integrity than the "kill the jews, who are like rats"
series of films by the Propaganda ministry under goebbels talking of the moral decay of the
Allies and their control by jews, or the russian "exterminate the invaders of your motherland"
hyper nationalism.

That was handled by the gigantic anti-intervention movement before the world, all of whom
switched their position after the attack at Pearl Harbor.
And Europe went with Japan because Hitler declared war shortly after Japan did
