nice job OP, though i dont think the controls are that good. nobody likes to read a wall of text
and since there are icons there anyway why not make them clickable in the first place?
you should at least mention that H gives instructions (can be text that fades away during the
first 10 seconds of the flash or disappears when H is pressed)

The controls are overdesigned, just make the entire interface mouse-based.
Also, Shantae's nipples should be pinkish.
