First game I tried to pirate. Unfortunately it crashed after getting off the boat and leaving the
character creation room. But I was very impressed with the game up until that point!

Many parts of TES3 haven't aged well, but it's from an era when challenge counted for something and
patience was a key virtue. It does a vastly better job of developing 'the hero's journey' than
later titles, which just sort of roughly apply it with a spatula. If you have the opportunity and
the patience for a slower-paced game, give it another try.

i never got past the first main quest back then. didnt find the objective (some puzzle box in
ruins?)
just wandered through the game and did stuff for weeks
