It's not that hard, just pick spots further away from the cat.

Some things that helped: don't build your net too close to the cat. Think a few moves ahead and
make it make moves it will just have to undo when you block it. Set up half-formed nets of
alternating open/filled dots and close the option it's about to take when it gets there.

This game is great. It can make dumb moves sometimes though. Most important thing you can do is
build traps if the cat can't kill you on the next few turns. Build on perimeter if you have a
shitty starting board. Careful of the corners nd the edge. Careful of the linear movers until cat
escapes.
