Not true at all actually. The good end still has him dying. That's the canonical story's end.

He gets in the suit in both endings. The only difference in ending is the cakes that you collect
through the hidden places in the minigames. As to how these cakes change anything is the real
mystery, but seemingly they cause the various robots to lose the will to live.

Part of the story. He jumped into the suit to flee from apparent ghosts of children he's
murdered, although old suits like the one he put on can be all robo or worn manually, and have
fucking shit safety measures. The springs holding all the rods, mechanics and whatnot out of the
way failed and crushed / impaled / gored him through and through.
The audio however is OC.
