we need more of this and less of everything else
also I wonder where are all the other satellites?
I mean there are shit loads of them at least one has to be seen somewhere

this one was likely in very LEO specifically for taking pictures

I don't know if they reflect that much light to be easily visible, and perhaps the ground lights
obfuscate them. No idea.

I believe it's been shot aboard the ISS, roughly 400 km above sea level

The sauce is in the flash, but it is incorrect. While I can confirm this is "The Law" by John
Maus, it is a heavily edited version and I can only find a poorly rendered version of the
original. Anyone else having any luck?

so I presume the other satellites are higher?

I tried. Nothing came up in my google searches.

Datassette has a lot of nice stuff, currently one of the best producers imo

Actually, most satellites follow the Low Earth Orbit, which ranges from 160 km to 2000 km above
sea level. And each satellite has it's own orbit.
Basically, there is enogh space for all the stuff mankind send in orbit. But debris, on the other
hand, might become a problem.

There are a lot of different combinations for elevation, eccentricity and inclination of orbit
where you can place a satellite. Also given the speeds involved for an orbiting object, for a
time lapse like this the only time you're likely to be able to clearly make out another satellite
is one frame before you lose the feed due to a collision.

Lockwert, are you by any chance Mugen?
I wonder what happened to him tripfagging up the board. Vanished like 1 year ago ~ rougly when
you showed your ugly face.
