An utopia for lab rats was created: an environment with plenty of food and nesting materials,
only limited by space. As you might expect, the population exploded. When the population became
large enough that there simply wasn't enough room for the rats to live, they started to behave
strangely. They stopped interacting with each other; very little sex, but also very little
fighting. The rats simply spent their time grooming themselves and eating. These healthy
scar-free animals were called "The Beautiful Generation."
