Both seasons of Railgun had a pretty good first half, then tapered off for the second arc. Like

IMO, Index sucks compared to Railgun.
Sure, there is more of consistent plot but that's pretty much it.
While Railgun may have been about cute girls doing cute things, Index goes so deep into the anime
bullshit pool (both in story and design) that it's no longer funny.
It will make you cringe unless you are a total weeb.
