When ME3 came out and the community realized how fucking shitty the ending was, they took to the
forums to voice their complaints. The staff and mods essentially started banning anyone that they
didn't like, including legitimate posters, simple complainers, and people that said anything
"bad" about Bioware and/or its staff.
Was a really messy display.

Racial stereotypes are not racist you fucking moron.
Racism is exclusive to the context in which one party looks upon another with the conception that
one race is superior to another. Making jokes about race does not fall under this category.

Do you really *really* think this. Do you really think implying asian people can't pronounce "L"
isn't racist as fuck? What year do you live in

To be fair, many Asians attempting to learn English often have a problem breaking just such a
barrier due to differences in phonetic pronunciation.
So yes, it's more of a fact than a simple belief.

I agree, it's racist to think Asians are not born knowing English.

As a Brasilian living in the US for 15 years, I still can't pronounce either sound made by the
letters "TH". Father, Theodore, Other, etc.
I'd be tickled silly if someone made a joke about it on the internet and a BR got offended in
response, instead of hue'ing off into the distance in reaction to the humorous topic of language
barriers. It's all just a rather silly thing to be offended about.
I mean sure, if you continually remind the person in a stupid way it can be offensive, but that
can be applied to literally anything, not just racism. Tell me I wear my coat in a stupid way one
more time and I'll steal your bike, you little shit.

No, it totally is true.
The japanese accent when speaking english sounds exactly like every racist asian caricature,
because the japanese alphabet is ridiculously limited phonetically.
The R-L mix up isnt the only one. Pronouncing C as 'Shi' is another. They didnt even have a way
to represent a V sound until people literally made one up.
In their ordinary lives they dont pronounce C. They dont have that as a sound. Or L. Or quite a
few other sounds. All english is spelt with the japanese alphabet to, which means its pretty
mangled.
So its not so much racist exaggeration, as it is a kinda embarrassing fact.
