Due to the placebo effect, if someone views their medicine of being higher quality (due to the
price or what have you) it will have a greater effect. This manifests in tangible ways like
symptom reduction as well, not just in terms of "oh I think I feel better today."

sometimes its how you react to being sick that has the greatest effect. my friend had mono for a
week and took nothing for it crying about how they didnt know what was wrong with them and
thinking they were going to die. everyday she didnt get any better. they finally got diagnosed
after going to the doctors several times and immediately started feeling better with no medication
