Given the length of the video and the file size, I'm guessing they split the difference in
quality between video and audio so that neither came out completely fucked.

After hearing the song, I realize that what I thought was just bad audio quality from compression
to fit in the 10Mb limit is actually just shitty effects added into the track to make it sound
