Western animation has traditionally focused on the actual movement of the characters.
Japanese animation traditionally focuses on more detailed models and backgrounds.
When the west fails, they keep the simple models and cheese out on the animation.
When the east fails, they draw boring, predictable characters and keep the low frame rate.
There's more shit on both sides than good stuff. Japanese golden era was 1980-ish, Western golden
era was 1960-ish
