Kanji are mostly "things", while hirigana is mostly grammatical parts, and katakana is mostly
phonetic spelling of mostly borrowed words, or other words that break the rules.

the point of a kanji is to represent an idea within a word, which can give you connections
between words and help your understandings, also, because of the limited nature of kana, there
will be many homophones within the language (words which sound the same). This means that in
short instances of writing without much context you can use kanji to differentiate.

watched because there was a .gif of when mio fell and someone took a picture and I thought it was
funny enough to watch the show. made it all the way to the scene (episode 8 I believe) and just
that far was too much. I try to believe that there are people who like things that I don't and be
fine with that, but this show is just fucking awful, this and Lucky Star are just awful and I
think the real bait are the people who try to pretend that this show as any good
