Death is weak to Light. Grind more diamonds from the Snow Queen, and you're good to go.

my thoughts exactly, but seriously, there's no telling whatsoever.
Also: I just did death with glitching out. The projectiles only go up to the border of the
window. If you play in fullscreen you can just leave it and whip Death from outside. Make your
sword pretty huge for that (I used the energy blade gained from doppelganger).
Protip: enter the screen early enough to pick up the money upon defeat, or it will instantly
leave the screen. You need coin bravery for this if it wasn't obvious.
