No problem, problem is my flash cs6 wont let me go above 128kb/s for mp3 files. The shittier
audio quality you heard before was a .wav, saving space but ultimately making it sound crude.

reminds me of Narshe

This is that map from Myst, drawn as an ortho -
My gawd, it's been like 20 years since I played that, I remember getting pissed that I couldn't
figure out how to make the rocket work at first :p

CS6 will expose only what bitrates are applicable depending on source material, and what codecs
and hardware are available on the machine - My CS6 shows up to 160kb/s for MP3, but then I have
all flavors of that codec installed and driving thru a Realtek HD audio bus. If I were to adjust
my system sample rate I should have some higher bitrates available with which to encode.
Like you, it only shows 128kb/s on my (much) older Dell lappy with just the FFDShow and a plain
ol' soundcard.

Ah thank you, but what i mean is that it wont let me even import anything over 128kb/s.

Still, that's already way more bitrate than you'll need for virtually any flash application, and
honestly, 3 audiophiles will complain about low res, although higher bitrates will add lots of
executive overhead to the running flash object, and can often cause teh seam in a flawless loop
to become apparent due to "fuck off, I'm thinking and buffering..." for a moment each iteration.
Just take the highest bitrate for the weight of the flash - the video is part of the weight; a
short, lowres, or vector-based clip will take up very little, and all the rest can be sunk into
audio depth. Longer, more HD, clips will require lower rates to pack all the audio in. At a
certain point, you will hit the lowest acceptable audio rate (typically 48kb/s) and tehn you will
have to dither visuals to fit in under 10MB.
Don't stress too much about audio Q, since we all accept that flash is the poorest platform for
perpetrating this kind of art. Ignore the few who whine, the ingrates.
