So how much longer before this board is either removed or becomes /html5/?
My bet is when Zone first makes the conversion.

Lel didn't know HSR was still around, will always love those guys.
Is something happening to flash I don't know about? HTML5 is NOT a replacement for flash, flash
does tons of stuff HTML5 cannot do.
Flash was created to do a lot of what HTML5 does, but Flash became something over the years that
HTML5 is just a subset of.

Can you go into more detail for a retard like me that doesn't understand much of this stuff? What
exactly does does Flash do that html5 can't?

Flash is supported by basically every browser in the world. HTML5 is not.

7 is the biggest one, for me as a developer at least. When you create content in flash, you can
morph the exact same project from a browser game to a desktop game fairly simplely. Flash handles
certain things like shaders and caching differently in AIR (their desktop environment) vs a flash
player in a browser, but you wouldn't have to rewrite an entire project.
To my understanding HTML5 really isn't set up to handle games at all, in fact. Technically you
can, but why would you....
Basically Flash just does everything under the sun (except 3D content) really well, and HTML5 is
just designed to make webpages more dynamic. I'm not saying 5 is bad, its very lightweight and
easy to use, but it's not used for the same thing Flash is.

A lot of this outdated, given that its 5 years old, and only really 7 holds true anymore (OTOH,
Desktop authoring is pretty much dead). Google Hangouts is web conferencing over HTML5.
The only thing Flash has over HTML5 now is the authoring tools
