It's about memes.
The two people run up, flip over a rock, and out from under it comes a cat. The cat screams, and
pops open and a man's face appears (the meme) amidst glitter and light. The skulls (representing
a lack of personality or a lack of self-image) on the two people's faces become the face they
just saw, representing them being consumed by the meme, filling the void of their social
emptiness. They are consumed by the flashy, pointless, glittery appearance of the thing they just
unearthed, and literally become it.
