It's a cat ritual. They knead people or other cats, when they want to express gratefulness, show
they are comfortable in someones presence or that they like someone.
This is a thing some of the cats preserve from the time they were fed by their mothers as
kittens. Biologically, they do that to stimulate the production of milk. But psychologically they
relate that to the feeling of happiness and safety, and they do that when they want to return the
affection.
It's an act of pure love. So if the cat isn't a necrophile, I doubt it . I suspect it was his/her
mother.
