Oregonian here.
I used to live in Tennessee, and this is one of the things I miss most about living in a flat
area. I used to live next to a huge field, I would spend my Summers just relaxing in the fields.
By day I would let the sun wash over my face and by night I would lay down and watch the stars
and see the fireflies hover past my face.
I mean, the mountains and forests here can feel especially ethereal but there's just something I
can't describe about being in fields of golden wild grass as far as the eye can see. You feel so
small, it's very humbling.
