  teh anime followed it pretty closeish, ended differently, the manga obviously kept going, the
  anime writers gave it a more final feeling.

  the manga series kinda ended with a cliffhanger, and the series continues with "Dance in the
  Vampire bund 2: The Scarlet Order".

  there was also 2 sidestories series called "Dance in the Vampire Bund Gaiden: Dive in the Vampire
  Bund" and "Dance in the Vampire Bund: The Memories of Sledgehammer" which both expand the
  universe more.

  but "Scarlet Order" is really the true continuation of the series, scans are way behind
  unfortunately

  I watched for the fight scenes, was weirded out by some loli stuff. Had to read the series
  because I really liked the romance parts, Akira and Nina really care for eachother. The manga has
  some crazy plot stuff too later on.
