  This song is just as iconic as the show itself in my opinion. I'm glad that that Yoko Kano and

  Why do weeaboos treat anime like a culture? Cowboy Bebop was a good cartoon that happened to be
  made in Japan in a similar style to other Japanese cartoons. I don't see why that entices people
  to compare it to other anime or develop an obsession with Jap animation in general.

  This shit could've been made anywhere else and it would've been just as good because it had good
  music, good characters, and a good story.

  They don't make em like they used to. A lot of animation studios are making moe trash and generic
  super girl high school romcom my sister cant be this much of a faggot shows because of how much

  One that really got me was "Kimi ga Nozomu Eien" (The Eternity You Wish For). Starts off cutesy
  and such but then takes a hard turn. The rest of the show is about life as an adult and what
  happens when one tries to relive the past. The ending pissed off so many people, but I loved it
  for the fact that it was more "real" to me than the fairy tail ending most wanted.

  Another one would be SaiKano. If you want a "happy ending" stop at ep 10-ish. If you want "oh god
  the feels" finish all 13 eps.

  To answer the initial question, though, Japanese animation grew out of the historical ether the
  country experienced after WW2. Most other countries that have made a contribution to the industry
  did so for decades before Japan stepped up. Anime has started out as, and continues to be, the
