Honestly, the music isn't that good. The animation is only popular because it's Roosterteeth. But
it looks like it was animated in Miku Miku dance with 3DCG models. I was a fan of Red V Blue,
even the sellout stuff that came out later. But this is just not very good.

I liked the music, but the whole anime style opver-the-top red riding hood is just kind of lame.

Monty (God rest his/her soul, I forget what [s]he was) was great at action scenes. Problem is
many times in RWBY a lot of the scenes were overly drawn out and that the plot of cliched as
hell. I don't mind things that have been done before, but you need to them damn well. Aside from
a few characters the entire thing felt trope filled and going in 30 directions at once, with the
real glue of it being the combat that held it together.

The fight scenes were the only good part of that series.
The characters were cliche, but like in every female centric anime (or in this case, an anime
styled web series) they had some cute yet shit waifu material.
The story was full of cliches but had some interesting bits to say the most.
The animation was.... just.... not that good. I was blinded every scene because they loved to use
whites that were back lit with Jay Jay lights from the gods.
The writing was all over the place and I could watch past like 4 episodes.
The only good that I think came out of it was that the girls were cute and I don't mind seeing
their faces here and there.
But for the love of god stop calling it an anime. And why the hell did Crunchy Roll put it on
their sight, they are just supporting this ideal that anything that looks like anime is anime.
Next thing you know they will be putting up Legend of Kora, Teen Titans, and Code Lyoko.
