Castlevania birds and medusa heads suck nuts in the old Castlevanias, since you couldn't change
direction mid-air and usually when you jumped, you were doing it over a pit, or scrolling the
screen (aka death-line) up. Also, the whip comes out rather slow and is limited vertically while
in the air. So it sucked when you jumped only to have a medusa head or bat fly JUST below your
whip-line and you accidentally lost your cross powerup. Of course, that's why I usually carry the
holy water. (Goes down.)
