I think I can maybe shed some insight to this story.
First Alice had a desire to hurt things, in the end she was drawn in and killed by the same
intense feelings of hatred manifested by something else she felt towards everything else in her
world
Second Alice liked to compose strange music, in the end his work drove him insane and he
developed some kind of split personality (Cross eyed man) which ended with his alter ego forcing
him to kill himself
Third Alice as far as I can tell was probably the only normal one. She never died like the other
three but as far as the story can explain she was trapped in some kind of world comprised of the
insanity of her admirers
The Forth Alice were basically just curious children who for some reason were drawn to the first
Alice whose malicious spirit (From what I can tell) possessed the younger brother who murdered
his older sister. After doing so, he was forced to wander, trapped in his imagination for
eternity.

Actually it was explained like this.
Each Alice is insane.
The First Alice is psychopathic, being driven solely to break and smash.
The Second Alice is either schizophrenic or narcissistic, and either sings because he loves his
own voice or to drown out the other voices. "Everyone was happy when he died" refers to that
noone mourns a narcissist or the 'voices' of a schizophrenic typically WANT them to commit
suicide. "Cross-eyed man" is just japanese slang for someone insane.
The Third Alice is delusional, and sees everyone as rotting corpses.
The Fourth Alices are (madly) in love, until one is driven to psychopathy ("drawing near the
first alice") and kills the other.

From what I've seen, there's multiple interpretations. I don't think there's a strictly set or
correct version thereof; I know one version that suggests the 4th kills the 3rd. The twins wander
around wonderland, drawing in the insanity of the others. Taking the sword of the first, they
brutally murder the third, and wander for the rest of their days.
I've seen about 4 or 5 different renderings of this (that is, with different art) so I don't
think there's a definite "story" to it, besides a vague outline given by the (likely badly)
translated lyrics.
Unless you know of some kind of original source that completely trumps that and makes me seem
retarded anyways.

Alice in Wonderland was originally told as a bedtime story to a girl named Alice. The man who
told this story was a pedophile and was madly in love with Alice.
Disney screwed with it-yada yada. Then what's his face made a game of it which was real dark, and
now Tim Burton is making an adaptation thing...or whatever you want to call it.
The man lived in the early 1800's, so it is pretty wonky, but not dark.
