You have to hold Right when you first start, in order to not fall through the screen.
That being said, fucking one-hit life system, and being shot in the back while kicking a bear in
the head. Seriously. I kicked a fucking bear in the head and another one came up from behind and
shot me point-blank while it was going through the kick animation. Fuck that.
