Lenin was against the personality cult stuff, but Stalin disagreed. There was a part toward the
end of his leadership where Lenin's government was established and was liberalizing things, but
then he died. Then stalin takes over and repeats all the atrocities and none of the reforms. I
wonder how things would have turned out if he lived to 60.

First thing that seemed obvious to me is that the eastern bloc would have been freer to pursue
alternate socialist methods. Yugolavia being the most commonly known, as well as Albania,
Romania, etc. Tito may very well have succeeded in transforming into a fully market socialist
regime.
