I've seen the game.
It definitely has none of the passion from Total Annihilation, that's for sure.
I feel you, OP.
Christ, Planetary Annihilation is such a lifeless game, no pun intended.
So extremely bland and un-fun to play. I actually went back and re-installed Total Annihilation
just to make sure I wasn't wearing nostalgia goggles and lost about thirty minutes of time
fighting a simple skirmish battle like it was nothing.
They well and truly failed to capture any of what made TA good in PA.
