Goodnight, anon.
How soothing.
Wait a second...
I've heard this somewhere and wherever I heard it it's making me feel extremely sad.
Hmm...

Same
It's wrecking my head trying to think of where though.

you both might be thinking Frédéric Chopin's "Raindrop" Prelude, Op 28, No. 15
which was used in a Halo commercial as well as several other things

they played this at my mothers funeral. This music only brings memories of looking at her casket
walking into the church. This music hurts to listen to.

I know about the Halo commercial and a few other things Chopin's Raindrop appeared in but I know
I heard Nocturne in something too.

It was played in Parasyte -the maxim, Dexter, and it was played at the end of a muse song as well.
Oh yeah, and the simpsons

Well Anon, >>2883414 here, it was really bugging me, so I went and did a bit of looking and I
believe I have found the cause as to why this particular Chopin nocturne, of all the ones he
wrote, was making my chest heavy.
And boy was I surprised.

The composer of the OST for Katawa Shoujo is a big Chopin fan, and many of the songs found within
are heavily influenced by his love of Chopin. One of the tracks, named "Nocturne", was quite
obviously and directly reminiscent of Chopin's own Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2, practically the same
song but just modernized.
Explains why it was making me get all feelsy.
Fuck, I thought I had forgotten about that game.
And now I'm feeling the urge to go play it again.
God damn it.

bad santa, shit was a depressing part, if I'm thinking of the right part.

i was thinking the exact same thing. it sounds very similar to the sex song in katawa shoujo.
good to know i was on the right track.

Katawa Shoujo OST is very nice now that you mention it.
Not what I was thinking of though.
I think it was from some anime though at least.
Kind of getting a Space vibe.

I would imagine that a decent amount of the songs from the game would sound similar, considering
most of them are inspired by Chopin.
>>2883454
The songs in Katawa Shoujo are quite nice and appropriate for the game, I would agree.
If this piece was less classical and more bluesy I'd say you might be thinking of something from
Cowboy Bebop.
A shot in the dark, but maybe it will help.

I was thinking Bebop could be it so I looked into it.
Apparently not.
Thanks though.

It's a good OST but Jesus Christ, I'll shoot my self if I have to listen to any of the "walking
around doing quirky high school things" songs again.
They just played so much and they're not that long.

look it up

I play the cello so my enjoyment of the soundtrack was only natural. I don't think I'll ever tire
of classical andante piano and relaxed, upbeat acoustic guitar.
Though I could see how you'd tire of them, since there are quite a few of them but played so
often you don't really notice. They all just sorta blend together after a while.

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso played this song. every time i think about the series, it destroyed my
feelings. might not be it, but its whatever.
